the  programmer  exists and thinks  in a plane where there is no time, 

and only ways of doing things some of which are better , 

and in that ideal universe on a baseline,  (or as they say

apples to apples, I'd rather be ...)

automated grudge work is better use of your time, 

so that your day can be spent working on non linear hundred year problems

lab grown meat, matter compilers, molecular assemblers, robots to do the housework ...

 the larger problems of life - rather than the smaller banal tasks

 of linearly expending your breaths on things that  give you more breaths...
