Buddhist theory is extremely pragmatic philosophy, elegance of mathematical ontology (years I learnt a new word) giving way to the supremely useful dharmic catechism which simultaneously overlays reality so well that it is both useful and real(enough) and holds just enough coherence to keep one from dropping out of practise when one falls into the disease of thinking.
The Karmic model, however, is a masterpiece of metaphysical calculus.
Ajahn Brahm, of course , rocks!!
