now, given your preference, as author, you can drag out one of the shapes and poof! it is now the story that is happening

now extend that and imagine a `thing` ,for lack of words, which contains all cutouts of all possible things 

all possible things are within it as seeds, 

when Consciousness wants to play, it picks up one seed, and feeds it a steady diet of time and space

(what if the seeds came along with packs of the instant powdered version of time and space  ?)

and now you have A  reality. one . of the many.

recursion is somehow co-linked to intelligence. not the biological kind. most people have eyes-outwards intelligence.  they know about the world around them what happened etc. Some have eyes-inwards - good imagination, facility with abstraction, but the eyes are not tracking time and space - hence the absent minded professor , writer .. or at the bottom of that ladder - the spaced out hippie

select few can do both, and can co-link models running in the abstract dimension to signals the eyes catch.

those who can compute ,with themselves as a variable, transcend themselves, and this is recursion  of the intelligence
